Avon Wildlife Trust covers most of Mendip and northern Somerset

Nigel has walked the shores of this large, naturally-edged reservoir almost daily for 30 years or so and provides the most amazing resource for those interested in its wildlife and history.

'Plants for bees'' a fascinating book for those interested in bees. Published by the International Bee Research Association (IBRA), written by Dr William Kirk and FN Howes, it is an extremeley comprehensive and well-produced guide for attracting bees of all sorts to the garden.

Royal Entomological Society ***** The society devoted to looking after the interests of professional and amateur entomologists. Publishers of keys to many insect families and orders and a natural source for insect information.
